Video: McKeon, Zwicker, Muoio & Johnson Get Behind-the-Scenes Look at Problems Facing N.J. Commuters

(TRENTON) – Assembly Democrats John McKeon (D-Essex/Morris), Andrew Zwicker (D-Hunterdon/Mercer/Middlesex/Somerset), Elizabeth Maher Muoio (D-Mercer/Hunterdon) and Gordon Johnson (D-Bergen) get a behind-the-scenes look at the problems facing New Jersey commuters, especially at New York Penn Station.
The lawmakers are on the Assembly Judiciary Committee, which is conducting a joint legislative investigation into NJ Transit’s failures under Gov. Chris Christie. On Friday, they received an inspection tour of New York Penn Station and the Sandy-damaged tunnels to assess plans to shut down up to five tracks this summer for major repairs.
