Statement from Speaker Coughlin on the Adenovirus at the Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation:
“I am saddened by the deaths of the children who have passed away from the Adenovirus at the Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and I send my deepest condolences to the family members of the children who have been lost. I am calling on the Wanaque Center to take immediate appropriate measures to address this tragic situation and to ensure that infection-control practices are strictly followed. I await the Department of Health’s report following its investigation and will consider the need to take any necessary action.”
